Re:new Project Partners with Exodus World Service to Provide Groceries and Masks to Local Families

One of our favorite events so far this month was when we partnered with Exodus World Service to deliver groceries and masks to those in need in our local community!

We’ve had a busy February with many fun projects and events! One of our favorites so far this month was an event with our partner Exodus World Service. Exodus World Service is a nonprofit, local organization that mobilizes the Christian community to welcome and befriend refugees. By educating churches and individuals about the plight of refugees and connecting volunteers with refugees through practical service projects, they empower people to be champions for refugees.

Together Re:new Project and Exodus World Service delivered groceries and 235 children’s masks made by our very own Artisans to those in need in our local community. The materials and costs to make these masks were covered by our grant from The DuPage Foundation

One Burmese family that received groceries and maks sent us this sweet message after our delivery. “Hello, we got lots of food and beautiful facemasks! I thank you so much!”

It’s moments like this that help us remember the why behind what we do. Seeing families so happy to receive items that our Artisans create is fulfilling for everyone! We are grateful to Exodus World Service and The DuPage Foundation for their partnerships. We are also grateful for our volunteers and supporters- things like this don’t happen without you!
