Treat your mom (or yourself & your bestie) to a 90-minute hands-on design session with one of Re:new’s product designers.
Fashion your very own perfect bag that reflects your style, confidence, and uniqueness. Working with our designers, you will select the leather, fabric, and hardware for your favorite Re:new bag. Your made-to-order bag will be sewn in Re:new’s studio by our refugee Artisans and can be picked up within one week of your design date. Plus, take home a special Re:new gift the day of your design appointment.
Workshop fee $20, plus cost of bag
When you arrive for your design session, you will select and pay for the bag you are designing.

The perfect event for a Girls Night (or day) Out! Host a private shopping party at Re:new Project after store hours. You and your guests will get the store to yourselves to shop, sip & snack. Our team will share the Re:new mission, you’ll tour the studio and see where our beautiful handcrafted products are made. At your private shopping party, you and your guests will all receive 15% off purchases made that night! All Party with a Purpose purchases will go directly back to programming that supports our refugee Artisans and students.
Party details:
The Party with a Purpose package includes a 2-hour in-store party at the Re:new Store & Studio, 483 Main Street, Glen Ellyn. We’ll work with you to create email invitations and a personalized party plan (we have connections with local performing ensembles). Bring your own appetizers, desserts and drinks (we can suggest local catering options). We'll provide the glasses and paper-goods. Also, we’ll set-up, serve and clean-up. You’ll be a guest at your own party! Hostess commits that her event will raise $750 in sales. Whatever amount is not hit, the Hostess commits to making a donation.

For the socially-conscious bride! Fashion your very own perfect bag that reflects your style, confidence, uniqueness and your commitment to empowering refugee women through dignified employment. Working with our designers, you will select the leather, fabric, and hardware to make your own Renew bag! Your made-to-order bags will be sewn in Renew’s studio by our refugee Artisans and can be picked up within three weeks of your design date. Plus, take home a special Renew gift the day of your design appointment. Our Bridal Package is a socially-conscious and sustainable way to honor your bridal party while supporting women.

Bridal Package fee $20 per person, plus cost of bag.
The Bridal Package includes a 2-hour design session with your bridal party (up to 6 guests). One bag style is selected by the bride for the entire bridal party (prior to the event). When you arrive, Re:new staff will give your bridal party a brief tour of our store and studio while your guests enjoy appetizers & drinks (supplied by you). Then you get to start designing!! Each guest will customize their own bag and will bring home a special Re:new gift. You will enjoy up to 3 hours at Re:new and will receive your custom-sewn bags within two weeks of the design session.
