We are Making Medical Masks and NEED YOUR HELP!

In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, we at Re:new have been hard at work prototyping medical masks and have already committed to donating over 350 to essential and medical professionals. Our faithful volunteers have rallied to help cut fabric over this weekend so we can employ our Artisans to sew them ASAP. Our goal is to continue to make masks for as long as there is a need.
Each mask is made following CDC Guidelines:
-100% cotton with a pocket opening for optional inserts.
-Fabric openings overlap when closed so there will be 2 layers
-Elastic ear straps that can be tied to make adjustable.
-Masks should be washed in hot water or boiled for 10 min prior to/after use.
-Adult Fit
In addition to donating masks, our hope is to be able to sell individual masks online within the next week. With the majority of masks being donated, WE NEED YOUR HELP! By sponsoring a face mask, you are providing protection to essential and medical professionals as well as employment to refugee artisans. $5 covers the materials and labor of one mask (with no profit to Re:new).
