This holiday season Re:new Project is carrying ten partner brands in our store that share a similar mission to ours: to serve refugees and sex trafficking survivors in our communities and support them as they thrive!

Here is a little about each of our partners!

Prosperity Candle

Prosperity Candle was founded out of a desire to lift families out of poverty by helping women artisans thrive. A social enterprise that supports refugees and artisans through candle-making and beautifully crafted vessels, this company’s heart for the refugee community is as big as ours. Every coconut soy candle they make is hand-poured and sure to bring an elegant touch to any setting. Check them out here.

Refugee Bath Co.

This bath bomb making company was founded on the principle that opportunity helps refugees thrive and that their purpose as an organization is to provide that opportunity. With many scents to choose from, their bath and shower bombs are the perfect way to invigorate your bathroom routine. Not only are they made with the highest quality ingredients, but they just so happen to be vegan, not tested on animals, and even come in eco-friendly packaging. We’re confident that once you experience the moisturizing power of these bath bombs, you’ll never go back! See what we’ve got here.

Beautiful Day

Beautiful Day is a gourmet coffee and granola company with a mission to help refugees, especially the most vulnerable, to enter the job market, become welcomed, and adjust to life in America. At the same time, their award-winning, tasty products educate consumers about the refugee crisis.  Every purchase, every bite or sip, provides a practical way to get involved with human displacement and start building more informed, welcoming communities. If you’re a fan of granola, you’ve got to try these. Or if you love good coffee, this is the perfect product for you!

Sitti Soap

Sitti is a conscious lifestyle brand committed to the self-reliance of refugee and displaced communities through long-term employment opportunities and skill development training. Bath and body, apparel, dried herbs, they sell a little bit of everything, and every bit is made through the artisanship of paid refugee women. Their beautiful, all-natural olive oil soaps might be our favorite!

Forai Inc.

Forai Inc. is an organization partnering with local refugee and immigrant women to realize their economic, educational, and social goals through training and peer support as well as expanding market opportunities for artisans. Forai focuses on three things: dignity by equipping artisans with skills, empowerment by offering on-the-job training in English, crafting, and more, and community by hosting community gatherings that help assimilate refugees into the culture. Forai’s metal necklaces are as pretty as they are purposeful and are a nice change from our own necklaces that are made of leather. Buy yours here.

Daughters of Hope

The vision of Daughters of Hope is not only to reduce poverty and injustice but to give dignity and freedom to those who have been caught up in the cycle of economic and social oppression. All of their products are fair trade and are made using local Indian fabrics and materials. Each product comes with a woman’s story of breaking out of the cycle of poverty. Looking for a way to spruce up your kitchen this holiday season? Start with these adorable tea towels!

Bebemoss

Bebemoss proudly provides sustainable jobs with fair pay to stay-at-home mothers in Turkey, empowering a community of moms to make toys in a kid-friendly environment with flexible hours. Most of these women live in the outskirts of Istanbul and in most cases, have no other chance to make money. Many are refugees from Syria, working hard to provide necessities for their families while they rebuild their lives in a new country. As if their mission wasn’t sweet enough, Bebemoss’s crocheted animals are absolutely precious, guaranteed to please the little one on your list!

Mercy House Global

Mercy House Global exists to rescue girls and empower families in order to redeem future generations in Jesus’ name. Working with women around the world through partnerships and sustainable Fair Trade product development, every product sold provides dignified work and helps sustain the organization’s two maternity homes in Kenya. Mercy House Global makes a little bit of everything, but we think these cute stickers are a must—great for jazzing up a water bottle or computer and just the add-on you need to make that gift complete!

Basha

Basha creates high-quality, unique, handmade products which reflect their deep love for the traditions of Bangladesh while employing at-risk women and survivors of trafficking. As long as there are women in Bangladesh in need of humane, hopeful work, Basha strives to continue to grow. Add a pop of color and culture to your decor this season with one of Basha’s fun (and even festive) pillowcases! See them here.

Vickery Trading Co.

Vickery Trading Co. is a nonprofit social enterprise based in Dallas, Texas that equips refugee women for long-term success. Because women who have fled war and persecution deserve a chance to thrive, they provide vocational training and personal development, enabling refugee women to earn fair wages through sewing skills. If you’re looking for something to liven up your tree this year, look no further! These beautiful, vibrant, handmade ornaments will do the trick.
