Since joining Re:new in 2017, I have become keenly aware of the issues facing refugee women in DuPage County. The women inspire me in so many ways. I am particularly impressed with their ability to adapt and persevere, despite the obstacles they face.
It is a joy and a privilege to work with gifted women of all ages from all over the world. I am grateful for the opportunity to celebrate World Refugee Day on June 20th and shine a light on the refugee women at Re:new. I love the incredibly rich culture and diversity that the refugee women bring to our lives. Please join us as we seek to raise $9,000 which is $1,000 in honor of each of the nine Artisans in our program!
